Melinda Porter

Melinda was born in Wittier, California; however she spent most of her childhood in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.  Melinda was saved at about 12 years old, but really discovered her relationship with God about three years ago. She has two daughters and five grandchildren. Her husband, Roger, and she have been attending Restoration Church since May 2013. Since that time, both of them were filled with the Holy Ghost, healed, delivered, transformed, and continuing to receive the fullness of what God has to offer.

Melinda says that when she first attended this church, she was struggling with severe pain and a dependency on pain medications. God healed her and she grants a lot of credit to the love that is reflected in this church. She says she feels very accepted here.

Melinda is one of the facilitators in the Overcomers in Christ class on Tuesday nights, is involved in the deliverance team, and works in the nursery.
